Would like to get rid of annoying feature in gnome
I would appreciate any help on this. I did some searching, and could not find a solution. Problem is, i don't know what this feature is called. When you move the mouse cursor to the far upper-right corner of the screen, the windows all line themselves up on the screen for you to click one. It might be neat, but i find it extremely annoying, and was wondering if anyone knew how to turn this off? Preferably without turning off any other desktop effects. Sorry if this is a repeat question, I just was having trouble with figuring out what to search for.
There is a program named "brightside" that does that sort of thing. I think the technique involved is called mouse gestures. I'd sure be ticked off if my distro installed and activated that sort of thing without telling me.

No brightside, and no beryl either. This is Fedora 7. Beryl is nowhere to be seen, yet everything acts like it's there. I'm a nerd, i like a lot of the wobbly windows and that cool stuff, I just want to get rid of this one thing.

And i managed to answer my own question, i'll put it here for future reference. Simply, it's the scale plugin for compiz.
i used the gconf-editor, went to apps > compiz > general > allscreens > options double clicked the active_plugins key, and removed the scale plugin. Rebooted, and yay, no more annoyance.
