Sound desync with ALSA + gmplayer

Hi,

My gmplayer (compied mplayer CVS with GUI support) has some problems playing files when I'm using alsa. When I put it to play with HW:0.0 as device default, it plays perfectly[but only one sound at a time], but when I put it to use "Driver Default" [1] it delays the audio.

The strange is that Kaffeine works ok, even when playing something in amaroK at the same time, so I guess is a problem with mplayer

[1] -> This is so alsa can play two streams at the same time - my .asoundrc:
#cat .asoundrc
pcm.dsp0 {
type plug
slave.pcm "dmix" }
ctl.mixer0 {
type hw
card 0 }

Thanks!

I've noticed that too with mplayer, but I got it working once. I followed this (ubuntu guide, should work with deb) http://ubuntuguide.org/#configuresoundproperly
