MSNP9 support for aMSN?

I have a problem getting aMSN to work here. After I have installed it on RH9 and run it with "wish amsn". When I try to logon I have to download and install TLS to support MSNP9. Because I am behind a firewall and use a proxy to get on the net I have to download it manually and install it manually.

I have download the package tls1.4.1-linux-x86.tar.gz and unpacked it, but I do not know what to do with it then?

I would appreciate some help, thanks!

The way I did it was simply to hit cancel, which puts you on the main screen, then chose proxy settings from the preferences, restarted and tried again. Seemed to work OK for me.
