How to run xclipboard?

1)When I run
Code:
ravbholua@ravbholua-Aspire-5315:~$ xclipboard
Error: another clipboard is already running

ravbholua@ravbholua-Aspire-5315:~$
where is this clipboard running. I don't see it anywhere.

2)After googling, I installed glipper. Now when I run
Code:
glipper
An icon appears on top. That's all!!
But I am expecting a window to pop up for the xclipboard.

How to then run xclipboard?

No window. Just right-click on the icon and all will be revealed.

Thank you for clarifying me.
Yes you are right. But I read a book : UNIX:Concepts and applications by Sumitabha Das. There the author wrote about a window for it. Photo is also there in the book showing how it looks like. But may be, it's now changed. That book was written 5 years back

If that solves your problem, then please mark this thread as [solved] using the Thread tools menu above your first post.
