strange line on grub.conf


recently i compie new kernel from kernel.org

i notice there's something strange on my grub.conf

theres a line stating

password --md5 nad few characters, 20something characters

is this something usual?
or is my computer bugged?

PS : ignore me, i forgot that i added grub password

Yes, for those that don't know, that would most likely be a encrypted password he's mentioning.
