As far as I can tell, the Gamers Edition of Mandy runs all its games using Wine/WineX. While this initially gives a good impression, I wouldn't think that you also get a free subscription to
Transgaming, so you wouldn't get the updates of WineX. If you already have the Sims, then I would suggest that you don't fork out any extra for the Gaming edition, but rather just get the best of the other Mandy editions out there, and subscribe to
Transgaming yourself.
