Any opinions on Mandrake Gamers edition

Noticed this the other day (it comes bundles with the sims, though whether its running an emulator or the sims has actually gone linux I dont know).

Basically I was wondering if anyone has any paticular opinions on this build. I run a games website and the thought that linux as a desktop OS might have a decent games config (even if there currently isnt much in the way of games) obviously appeals to me.

As far as I can tell, the Gamers Edition of Mandy runs all its games using Wine/WineX. While this initially gives a good impression, I wouldn't think that you also get a free subscription to Transgaming, so you wouldn't get the updates of WineX. If you already have the Sims, then I would suggest that you don't fork out any extra for the Gaming edition, but rather just get the best of the other Mandy editions out there, and subscribe to Transgaming yourself.

Just my 2p.
