5.1 sound prob


Hey, first of all i am a complete beginer. second i am trying to get my 5.1 surround sound working, have a creative sound blaster live card. have checked alsa mixer and played aroud with those settings: no help. I turned off the on board sound through bios, no change. in alsa it says i have a dell sb live. Is this possible because the box says creative? Is there a driver or something i can download to fix this? thanks alot for any HELP!!!! my card is a [SB Live! Value] EMU10k1X. only the front 2 speakers and sub work
