wvdial error..Carrier not detected


Hello all,
i use wvdial to connect to..it was working fine but now when i dial via wvdial on communicating with ISp's modem and making connecting noise it just stops and error msg is "Carrier not Detected"
Thanks in advance for any useful suggestion
