Use the Ubuntu netbook remix; it will have the appropriate drivers.

The Dell Mini 10 uses the Poulsbo chipset. It is unfortunately not well supported on Linux. You will need to install the Poulsbo driver from a PPA.

Make sure the system is up to date then run this:
Code:
$ sudo wget http://gma500re.altervista.org/scripts/poulsbo_ppa.sh && sh ./poulsbo_ppa.sh

Thanks.
I've tried two times UNR and it is really bad with my Dell 1010. Slow, uncomfortable, limited and does not have either the appropriate drivers so I prefer the "normal" version of Ubuntu. Maybe woks in another netbooks.
