Just bought a Dell Mini 10 with Ubuntu

I've been using v.9 of Ubuntu at home. My desktop is set to dual boot with it and Vista. For school I wanted a more mobile option. I tried going the cehaper route and installing v9 on my old Toshiba but there is a driver issue that I just can't knock out. So I am always a geek when it comes to new 'puter stuff so I finally bought a little netbook. The Dell Mini 10 to be specific. I upgraded it to the 1.6 GHz processor. It comes with 1 GB of ram and a 160 GB hard drive. Its also got a webcam. It comes with Ubuntu 8. I hope it gets here soon. It will make doing my schoolwork much easier. Take that Mafiasoft!!

I'm looking forward to its arrival. I think that its little neoprene travel sleeve will get here before it does but thats ok. I learn so much everyday from playing with Linux, and reading issues that other people are having. You guys are great!
