Question libssl.so.0.9.7: cannot open shared object file

hi

just installed a new software on my new debian lenny, and i got this error:

error while loading shared libraries: libssl.so.0.9.7: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I read many post about making symlink of the installed version but seems not working with me ... maybe i didnt made it correctly

ldd mysoft
libssl.so.0.9.7 => not found
libcrypto.so.0.9.7 => not found

ls -la /usr/lib | grep libssl.so.0.9.7
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 15 2009-12-02 10:18 libssl.so.0.9.7 -> libssl.so.0.9.8

any clue ? on apt i can only install libssl0.9.8

thanx

It sounds like your software is a little older being compiled against openssl-0.9.7, is there a newer version available ?
