Lightbulb error while loading shared libraries: libdb-4.1.so: cannot open shared object file

hi all

i am trying to install 'courier imap server ' while running 'Configure' script i am getting the error as

error while loading shared libraries: libdb-4.1.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

this problem is with permissions or setting.
if it is related with the setting then what should i do?

thats not a permissions problem. you are, however, lacking a library. Try installing libdb-4.1
