My sound has stopped working for some reason, I have explored everything I could find on here, with no luck. After install, it worked fine, but for some reason it no longer does. My OS is SUSE 10 x64 edition (I think it's the OSS) and the soun card is an on board NVidia CK804. The system is a dual Opteron 244 with 2Gb Ram.

The card is configured (correctly or otherwise) in YaST, but no sound works, even the test sounds. Please help me, I'm going mad with out music to work by !!!
