Slow glx gears/video

OK here are my specs
p4 2.4 ghz
768 megs ddr ram
kernel 2.4.26
Geforce FX5700 256 ddr ram newest nvidia drivers 6111 also tried 6106

OK the problem I have heard many people say my fps in glx gears is slow for my geforce fx5700 video card and I cant figure out why after numerous thread reading id figure id try posting any suggestions would be great.

Glxgears
chris@Linuxrulez:~$ glxgears
11463 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2292.600 FPS
14386 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2877.200 FPS
14394 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2878.800 FPS
14371 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2874.200 FPS

Try to use NVDIA module instead of AGPGART and see if works better for you.

You have to put this option on you config file, but add this as well under Device section:

Option "NvAGP" "1"

This will force the drivers to use NVIDIA's module. The option you putted is only for telling x system which driver to use, but not with which AGP module.

Hope it helps
