Ati glx gears fps or other bench

What is a good way for me to test my current 3d acceleration status. I followed a long guide to get 3dacceleration at all and i just want to know if my numbers sound typical. Heres my setup:
Mandrake linux 10 Official
Abit nf7-s V2
Amd Athlon xp2600+ thoroughbred
512mb (2x256mb) corsair xms 3200
Sapphire Radeon 9800 pro 128mb

Heres my glxgears scores:
16034 frames in 5.0 seconds = 3206.800 FPS
20383 frames in 5.0 seconds = 4076.600 FPS
20357 frames in 5.0 seconds = 4071.400 FPS
20163 frames in 5.0 seconds = 4032.600 FPS
20312 frames in 5.0 seconds = 4062.400 FPS
20323 frames in 5.0 seconds = 4064.600 FPS
20209 frames in 5.0 seconds = 4041.800 FPS
I have quake, quake 2, quake 3, UT, wolfenstein 3d, return to castle wolfenstein, steam (via codega), doom, doom 2, tnt, plutonia, mupen64, epsxe, pcsx2, some snes emulator, and a nes emulator. All of which work acceptably. Is there any kind of bench i can run like on the quakes (trying to remember how to run quake3 benches) that would give me a better estimate how i am doing with ati's linux drivers. Thanks for sugguestions.

4k is pretty badass, you're definately getting the most of your card. My non-accelerated laptop 8mb shared memory card pushed about 100. The only card I have accelerated video for, a Matrox G550, only pushes 1k, and I can only do that with 1 monitor at a time

Cheers,

Welcome to LQ realsmartone35. I have to agree with finegan, if you are getting >4000 fps, that's a huge score. In my system, using an older Radeon 7500 card, I'm getting about 460 fps (note that this is in full-screen mode, if I minimize the glxgears window to postage stamp size, those numbers go up)

In any event, congrats on successfully setting up such a blazing system. There are a lot of people who post questions about how to successfully install the ATI drivers (just check out some of the other threads on ATI), and if you were able to do it relatively painlessly that's definitely a feather in your cap -- J.W.
