What is a good way for me to test my current 3d acceleration status. I followed a long guide to get 3dacceleration at all and i just want to know if my numbers sound typical. Heres my setup:
Mandrake linux 10 Official
Abit nf7-s V2
Amd Athlon xp2600+ thoroughbred
512mb (2x256mb) corsair xms 3200
Sapphire Radeon 9800 pro 128mb
Heres my glxgears scores:
16034 frames in 5.0 seconds = 3206.800 FPS
20383 frames in 5.0 seconds = 4076.600 FPS
20357 frames in 5.0 seconds = 4071.400 FPS
20163 frames in 5.0 seconds = 4032.600 FPS
20312 frames in 5.0 seconds = 4062.400 FPS
20323 frames in 5.0 seconds = 4064.600 FPS
20209 frames in 5.0 seconds = 4041.800 FPS
I have quake, quake 2, quake 3, UT, wolfenstein 3d, return to castle wolfenstein, steam (via codega), doom, doom 2, tnt, plutonia, mupen64, epsxe, pcsx2, some snes emulator, and a nes emulator. All of which work acceptably. Is there any kind of bench i can run like on the quakes (trying to remember how to run quake3 benches) that would give me a better estimate how i am doing with
