radeon 9550 cant get hardware acceleration to work


I cant get it to worked i have followed several guides but i cant get it to work.
(i have suse 10.2) always in the end i run glxinfo in terminal
and i get direct rendering: no in glxgears i get 605 max fps
i tried disabling composite extentions but still no 3d acceleration .
Any idea?

What does you /etc/X11/xorg.conf look like?
