Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

Mach64 3D support on OpenSUSE10.2

I have Opensuse 10.2 and I want my ATI Mach64 card to use 3D.

I have two cards, and the first on that list is a Trident card, which is from the Windows 95 era, and doesn't have 3D support at all. The only time I use it is when I want to screens to expand my desktop, and most of the time the card isn't activated as part of Xorg.

So, how do I get this Mach64 (aka. Rage Pro) working with 3D? Has anyone tried it?

For now my non-acclerated desktop works fine.

My Machine:
PIII @ 733 Mhz
512 MB Ram PC133
