Flash BIOS from Linux

Is it at all possible to reflash the BIOS from linux? I don't have xp on that machine. There is a program called Winflash that runs under windows only, but the datafiles are separate from the .exe.

I have not seen a linux utility that will flash the BIOS. I believe that new motherboard BIOS have a BIOS flash option in the configuration settings but if not your best option would be to create a floppy DOS boot disk and use it to flash the BIOS. If lacking a floppy disk drive then you can create a Boot CD.
