3G Modem

Does anyone know if the Qualcomm-HS 9212 USB internal 3G modem will work with mdv-2009.1 or any other distro?

I've recently installed mdv on my Acer Aspire One AOA-150 netbook and would like to get this working if possible.

lsusb does list it, but I'm using Winxp at the moment and can't show details. We've had a terrible storm today and my normal internet service is down.

Any links, suggestions and/or ideas on it working? My provider is AT&T.

I am not sure if this site will help you but I used it to set up my Option Quicksilver Modem from At+t.
