That was the line I was looking for (actually expecting would be missing).

That shows the usual BIOS/Motherboard issue that kept ram from being enabled in many other situations (other threads here at LQ) is NOT the problem on your system.

So you are outside the range of problems I have seen and the info you quoted earlier about a kernel patch is probably on track.

Sorry about wasting your time by thinking this was the common problem I understood.

I've upgraded to Fedora 16 for now and I see almost all 16gb of memory.
