Novell CLP

Does anyone have experience with the Novell CLP Self-Study Kit. When I get my
tax return money I am going to invest in the kit and would like to know if you
have had any experience with it. Since I am currently an MCSE and employed in
that capacity, it would be extremely helpful if someone could comment on that
view also.

What I have come to realize since I have been working in this profession is, I
would have pursued a Linux career path instead of a Microsoft. On the other
hand have practical knowledge of both will help my career.

Thanks.

Thumbs up

I am presently working on my NCLP and LPIC . Incindently both of them have been incorporated as the top 10 industry level certifications of this year, closely behind RHCE and MCSE. And considering the cost vs quality factor I suggest they are the best bet for the modern times. Novell's newer NCLE 9 is touted to be as good as RHCE.

I am RHCT on RHEL 3 and currently i work part time as a trainer in a highend networking Institute. My institute is an authorized training partner with Novell and not Redhat and I have been assigned to provide training on Novell certifications as well as onsite corporate Redhat training.

I wish to give my RHCE (since i already cleared RHCT) on RHEL4 but i want to know is there a considerable difference in Novell Suse and Redhat certifications since my institute management is full of politics and not letting me get the glimpse of offical Novell course material and keep telling me to master redhat when i am a redhat certified and working on Redhat since 3 years

Can someone plz give me some pointers to Novell books or online docs
