Watched half the video and decided its low IQ rubbish... what most low IQ folks do is... make it up as they go along with impressive to them numbers.

A sign that its the end of the world is the fact that you can see the Sun every day.The Earth and the moon have been together for a very long time and they traveled here from our nearest galaxy Andromeda as a giant snowball then were allowed to orbit the sun...all the galaxies that are up there are spent days, when the Earth and the moon shot through space they would enter a newly forming galaxy and swing gravitationally between the forming stars, then out and make the jump to another galaxy(one day in the Garden of Eden),life on the Earth departed by what we today call death(its not death though it just looks like that to you) and the cloud which was held up by the moon froze over as it made the jump to the next day(Galaxy)since the Earth was covered in cloud it was lit by the passing stars in each Galaxy it traveled through.
The velocity of the Earth and the moon together was in excess of the speed of light so everything was different as to what you might think you know.as they entered the Milky way backwards, reverse gravity slowed the Earth and the moon down to sub light speed)Then in Noah's time the cloud fell down because the Moon moved farther away and the world flooded and the sun and the stars were seen for the first time...
Hey I just made this all up and it explains why the universe is full of stuff that dos,nt seem to be of any use... LOL

I expect that only one or two will get an idea from this,I don,t expect anything other than derision from most... !

Well you are certainly entitled to your opinion.

Well you just wrote a long and nonsensical paragraph to do what exactly? Try to "prove" that there has to be a purpose to everything that exists in the universe?

If that's not it you really need to express yourself better... :-/

Honestly your post was so daft it didn't really deserve a reply...but anyway.
Also, why so sad I only spent 14 minutes (actually less than that) on your post when you couldn't watch the entire video (which isn't even 15 minutes long)?

Methinks you want other people to consider your arguments (if you can even call what you wrote and argument) but you aren't prepared consider theirs.

So, do we call it Hugheism, or do you prefer Hughetorrancism, or maybe Torrancism?
And who do we sacrifice to?

If we are prejudiced against Hughe's new faith does that mean we're guilty of Religious Intorrance?

Hey Guys...yonnieboy and MensaWater the good news is... its not a religion, its just some ideas to think about and make you smile, which is always worthwhile... !

However you might like to check into my favourite church... the Church of the sub-genius...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Church_of_the_SubGenius of course you have to be a Slacker if you want to join up... LOL

If you think I was not smiling then apparently my pun was too subtle:
Intorrance = inTORRANCE (as a play on intolerance).

They say it's not funny if you have to explain it.

Talking

MensaWater hmmmmmmmph... we will need to work on your faith a bit...you see I did and I do... LOL

Yor explanation is for unbelievers and should never really have been written, however thats the problem with a one dimensional forum, you have to assume, and often assumptions are untrue.
Back to reality, Jeebizz good man you are a possible convert to the true church of the living God. LOL
As you both doubtless know all the major religions are rotten and corrupt but some of the smaller ones are possibly nearer to the truth.
My own forebears were Methodist but to be honest I ducked out at an early age (5)...but I am sure that methodism is a great tool in helping with installing and using Linux and possibly life.

MensaWater,If I may quote our wonderful mod Xavierp...always assume I am jokeing except when I am not...keep on your toes and watch your back...right !

Check this out... I,m off to watch TV !

Sense of humor

The Church encourages humor, comedy, parody, and satire far more than most religious faiths. This belief is probably why the Church is seen on one level as an elaborate joke (the Church argues that if it is a joke, then it is "a very serious joke," "a joke that you can believe in," or "the greatest joke ever told"), an arguably postmodern mockery of organized religion, and a parody of controversial religious groups and cults, especially Scientology, Mormonism, evangelicalism, fundamentalism, and televangelism.

In their book Religion Online: Finding Faith on the Internet, Lorne L. Dawson and Douglas E. Cowan characterize it as a "sophisticated joke religion".[17] Almost nothing is considered off-limits to comedy in SubGenius circles, and the group's jokes often veer into the realm of bad taste. The Book of the SubGenius says: "If you don't laugh, you didn't get it, but if you ONLY laugh, you didn't get it." Church members frequently pull practical jokes on each other, even as they are using their comedic talents to other ends. The Book of the SubGenius poses the question "Is this a joke disguised as a religion, or a religion disguised as a joke in sensible shoes?"

@hughetorrence

I like the Church of the Subgenius, because it is the very first religion that tells you up front that they are completely full of shit, which in my mind means that already they are very truthful .

Also, their motto practically sums everything up: "Fsck them, if they can't take a joke!"

This video says it all! (Man, Rev. Ivang Stang was much younger back then too )

Repent, quit your job, slack off, and PRAISE BOB! EYIYIYI!!
