That sounds like something Marilyn Manson would say. For a different meaning of "star", of course.

Or maybe the leader just slows up slightly when he gets tired, so the bird next to it temporarily becomes the leader, and that this kind of shuffling happens all the time, and that's why birds are almost never flying in a perfect V, but thanks for sharing the reductio ad absurdum argument, it was a fun read.

Here's a bit more. Maybe the imperfect V formation is because they're all preoccupied with deep philosophical questions, scientific theories, writing novels, or deciding which is the best distro?

If they're Linux geeks, they're Slackers, obviously.

Yeah, if they have any sense, they will be. Except for the one in front, it's running Windows ME.

Just think 100 pages and where are we? deadlocked over the possibility of some all knowing, all seeing entity such as God and the big bang theory. Hmmm I guess I'll find out who's right when I cash in my chips. If it is a god I guess I'll say sorry but until then I believe more in the big Bang theory...makes more sense to me!

Yeah...that's it! Problem solved. Centuries of argument and speculation ended. An answer that should satisfy both sides: religious & scientific.

Ugh, why is it apparently OK to preface any scientific proof with "God decided that..." to attempt turn an argument upside down in such a poor way? Such a crude way to not have to think for yourself.
