I think it was the (not so) deliberate reverse psychology: "**DON'T** select this unless you're a M$ troll!"
As for me, I can't really vote...TBH I don't have that much of an opinion. :-\ Also, I don't even recognize one of the names ("Ron Houvespian" ).
Lessee if I got this right:
RMS = GNU
Linus = Linux
Bob Young/Mark Ewing = ???
Ron Houvsepian = ???
Jeremy Garcia = LQ admin
Mark Shuttleworth = Ubuntu
Clement Lefebvre = Linux Mint
Steve Ballmer = Microsoft

Thats also why I voted for him.
Ballmer is in no way a brianL wannabe though, because that would require intelligence. He's more of the Glenn Beck of the tech industry, foolish and dumb.

I dunno if "foolish" and "dumb" are enough. He once ripped his vocal cords after screaming really loud in an incident similar to that in the aforementioned clip. He needed surgery afterward. I think "beyond demented" or "negative IQ" are better in describing Ballmer.

I can't stand Stallman, I agree with Linus, it is ludacris that people should call the OS we use "GEE IN YOU SLASH LINUX". I just want to call it something easy, like Linux! "Hello everyone, I use Gee In You Slash Linux, what do you use?"

Why, you say? Because I couldn't edit the poll once it was posted. I tried reporting the original post to the Mods, but they didn't edit the poll either.
