That would be abusing the rep-system.

Down repping someone because of personal opinions?

What's wrong with Kenny_Strawn?

He just keeps getting more and more serious about it to the point of insulting and abusing members because they aren't as crazy as him.

Insulting and abusing members how? I specifically edited *BOTH* of my posts and even made it look like they were *deleted*. Shouldn't that say something?

What it says to me is that either you can't defend your opinion (and have to edit your posts when under pressure) or you can't control what you write and edit your post afterwards because you didn't mean it.

Hasn't it crossed your mind that perhaps you shouldn't have written those posts in the first place?

Why did you write them in the first place? It's at least the third insulting comment you wrote within the last 2 days.

Like, for example, when you said that *real* Linux users write Windows with an '$'.

And down-repping someone because they are joking/have a different opinion?!?!?!?!?

It does say something... I mean, at least you tried to amend the situation. Better than nothing and the best thing you could have done at that point.

But Like MTK358 said, you should have never wrote them in the first place.

Exactly. Of you wrote one comment and deleted it, then fine. But 3 unrelated insulting comments in the course of 2 days?

I agree that both of those comments are evil. Sorry, just ignore them. I really have become much more of a zealot than I have imagined before. If people on LQ especially are starting to hate me I must be becoming *VERY* extreme towards Linux. Sorry for that.

You might try taking a week off from the forums and the computer. It's a great exercise for seeing whether you have any real life. If you don't have a life, get one!
