View Poll Results: What is your favorite desktop environment?
Fluxbox because it is very good on an old system. Still when I get a new system (whenever that may be), I will probably still end up using Fluxbox. I might play around with xfce and KDE, but ultimately stick with Fluxbox.
This poll needs a "depends on the situation" option. I for one use KDE, GNOME, and fluxbox daily and each one is exactly what I want on the machine that I use it on.
Fkuxbox, since everything else just seems to add too much complexity. But, having said that I use software from other DE's - Dolphin from kde for network shares, PCManFM or Thunar for opening/mounting flash sticks etc. k3b and kile.
I use fluxbox. It's small, it's easy, it got what you need. It's nice. It's perfect
If I need to choose some DE, I would choose KDE over Gnome, but on laptops or slow computers I prefer LXDE
