I recently acquired installation CD for Fedora 8. Using the installation guide I tried to install the system but without success.
Having reached 'First Boot'(section 17) the Setup Agent was displayed and the guide advises the user to select 'Forward'. What or where is Forward? There is no tab on this particular screen so labelled and my keyboard doesn't have such a key, either. After spending a short while wondering what to do next the Setup Agent screen suddenly disappears and the subsequent screen invites the user to 'log in'. this is not possible because I haven't yet managed to reach sub-section 17.5 to setup a User Name.
The whole shambles completely spoiled my Christmas.
Any help or advice would make an old man very happy

Have you tried the installation again or are you kind of wondering what to do next?

I have tried re-installing, about twice, but I still get the same result and would really like to know if there is anything I can do next.
