multi desktop not showing

Hi!
I am running Fed 15, it uses gnome3. I also installed xfce, but on boot I do not have the option to boot from either. I do not even have the choice to start with old gnome.

How can I correct this?

I reinstalled gnome shell, gdm, but there is no change.

When you click on the user name at the gdm login there should be a
choice of DE's available just under where you enter your password.

Yeah, but it's not there. That's why I reinstalled gdm and the login part, pressed alt f2 and entered r then rebooted, but nada.

How about if you install "switchdesk switchdesk-gui" then it will be located under "Applications>All or Other>Desktop Switching Tool".
