alaios,
I just installed XFCE4 and was pretty simple to do...
As noted by jfryman, just add os-cillation debian sources to your sources.list file. Then when you do
Code:
apt-get install XFCE4
It will take care of getting what you need...can't remember for sure, but it may also recomment some other packages to install too...just watch the messages...
BTW, was using iceWM before XFCE4. IceWM is very good, but more basic visually and feature-wise.
XFCE4 is nicer visually and has some good features, but is a bit slower than iceWM on my little Fujitsu P1120 subnotebook.
But the P1120 is not the fastest machine.... 800MHz Transmeta...
Will probably keep XFCE4 at least for awhile...
HTH,
Mark
