GPG error


Hi
in installed Sarge and upgraded to testing, now I am getting
W: GPG error: http://http.us.debian.org testing Release: Could not execute /usr/bin/gpgv to verify signature (is pnupg installed?)
W: YOu may want to run apt-get update to correct these problems

from what I gather Dead Parrot indicated how to fix the problem with the "NO_PUBKEY XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX" issue, the error I posted is nothing to do with PUBKEY, dracae indicated that he did
apt-get install debian-archive-keyring
apt-key update
which you then said it did not work for you.
what instructions are you referring to?
