data sharing between c++ shared object and Fortran shared object

Hi,

I am using debian sqeeze 6.0 to develop(migrating windows version) a simulation tool.

In my application i need to use two shared objects, one is c++ shared object compiled with gcc and the other is fortran shared object compiled with gfortran.

C++ shared object is having a data structure defined to match common block in fortran shared object.

Now how to have the fortran shared object having access to c++ shared object data structure.

I need to have one memory location to be updated either by c++ data structure and fortran data structure when both are loaded into one application.

Thanks for any suggetion

I would check your text books, start paying attention in class and stop asking folks to do your home work for you.

Thanks for suggestion. Thanks also for being so encouraging to use forum.

As we are new to linux, trying the similar way how we did in windows but are not sucessful. As could not found a way, we have written to forum for any help.

Our problem is resolved. We are building c++ first and and linking to Fortran shared object initially but when we do reverese, fortran block is accessing datastructure in c++ shared object.
