Couldnt find pidgin after installed

I am new to Debain(lenny) and tried to install pidgin by using

Code:

aptitude install pidgin

and it was all goood, perfectly installed

But, after that, I couldn't find where pidgin is, it was not in Application->Internet, and I tried to have a look in Preferences->Main Menu too, but was not there.
Can anyone give a help.

Try to open a terminal and give pidgin. If it opens then we will found where is installed if now something went wrong!

Run update-menus as user. Sometimes for one reason or another menu entries are not created like they should.

BTW you are going to want the vesion of pidgin from the backports.org repo if you use Yahoo messenger or MSN.
