EDIT 141221
A new version of PuppEX Tahr is ready. Most important changes: I've changed kernel from 3.17.6 to 3.18 and installed NVIDIA Graphics driver 340.65. The Nvidia driver will be used if your computer/card is "modern" enough. I've also added Tahrpup's Service Pack 6.0.1 in PuppEX version 141221. (Kernel 3.18.1 can't be used in Puppy/PuppEX just yet).
EDIT 141209
Today I have uploaded a new version of PuppEX Tahr. It uses kernel 3.17.6-puppex. Kernel 3.17.6...
I have compiled yet another Ubuntu/Debian kernel for 64 bit systems. This time kernel 3.18.0-3-exton, equivalent to Kernel.org’s kernel 3.18.0-rc4, released 141109.
I don't know how useful this info is for the average Puppy Linux user is, but today I have compiled a new perfect (as I think) 3.17.0 kernel for my PuppEX installed (not "frugal") system. I call it 3.17.0-puppex.
The kernel can be used in all newer 32 bit Puppy Linux "fully" installed systems. I.e. not "frugal" systems.
