Pls Help

I'm totally new to this site as well as to Linux. Yesterday I installed Debian version of Linux. Now I want to install some Windows programs to that. But I don't know how to run a .exe file in Linux environment.
After a google search I found,
this page and I followed that process. But I didn't succeed. So please help );

For the last 4 months I have read story after story about how bad the economy is and how corporations or banks have borked us. That may be true, but it takes two to tango and if the stupid, selfish politicians hadn't asked them to dance we wouldn't be in this mess. Look, business is about greed and making money. U Turn and Other Stuff

I know I said I didn't want the 64 bit versions of the distros I've got on my laptop on my new desktop, but I've changed my mind. Getting indecisive with the advancing years.
Something strange happened dual-booting Slamd64 and Ubuntu 8.04. If I'd been on Ubuntu then booted into Slamd64, the clock was set back an hour. And my timezone changed to Europe/Guernsey from Europe/London. But that wasn't why I got rid of it. I prefer Debian, that's all.
