GRUB error 12, 15 at WinXP booting

hi papseddy,

thanks for advise but real life is more funny. at parallel I have tried setup pptp_vpn and after that action my pc went to continual reboot... PC booted GUI and switch to cli and back. Then I tried to recovery XP at first partition but I did not do it. Then I tried to recivery XP on both portitions and received error 17 at grub mode...

any thoughts?

Gotta say somethin'

I have a pc clone with an lfs version6.3 os that was builded from a live CD. It got on the internet
today with Lynx (27mar09). Surprise! Surprise! Thanks to all involved from various time periods and
various places on the internet. Large and small this and thats from HoWTO's and tutorials and forums
and e-books. lfs is very cool.

A few years ago my computer quit booting from it's non-linux system and has been in disuse. Almost
gave it away once. Glad...

I like xfs. I use xfs. You might not...so run "man mkfs.<your_favorite_filesystem>" to read up on how to convert...

Dell has historically had a pretty low-end line of RAID cards (the PowerEdge Expandable RAID Controller, or PERC for short) that have required tons of time and care to get them operating at a reasonable level. This blog post will cover my experiences with the PERC6/E line of cards (which aren't that bad, especially compared to previous versions) and how to get optimal performance out of them on Dell 1950/2950 machines, as well as PostgreSQL general configuration.

want to send mail to other terminal users

FOR SENDING MAIL TO PERSONS WORKING ON OTHER TERMINAL ON THE SAME MACHINE.

1.Go to the terminal and type
$who
this will give you the list of users who are working on some other terminal

2.install package mailx and mailutils
$sudo apt-get install mailx
$sudo apt-get install mailutils

3.type on the terminal.
suppose there is a user on the terminal tty2 called amit
$mail amit
press enter
you will...
