perghh, welcome to LQ. What do you want to know? Asking what an OS can't do is far too broad a question. What do you want to do with it?

rc0 rc4 rc6 etc. folders

It seems that the familiar rc3.d rc4.d etc. folders have been replaced? Can someone explain how I can modify startup as I did with other distributions to the rc3.d rc4.d etc folders.

In zenwalk (and slackware of course) all startup scripts are in /etc/rc.d/
In zenwalk there is a tool to manage those, serviceconfig, which you can run from a terminal, or from the zenwalk control panel (zenpanel).
