How to load installation programs from a CD using Gslapt.
I have a disc I ordered with programs on it for Vector Linux. I have never used Linux before. Is there a manual or instruction book of commands, with step by step instructions on how to use Gslapt. Otherwise, I guess I will be using this disc as a coaster for my coffee.
Hello, Thank-you for your reply. I have Vector Linux installed on two computers. One on a new HP and one on an older HP.
My problem was I purchased two CDs, one was an installation CD the other had some programs on it. I have been trying to install the programs that were on the 2nd CD.
I have posted a thread on the link you suggested above, and a couple of people have tried to help me, but I am still having problems.
The last reply I recieved on the link above was a link to a pharmacy for nerve medicine.
So I took the hint, and decided I am not smart enough to figure out linux.
So.......I am uninstalling Vector Linux, and going back to MS Windows. Since, VL will not run properly on my newer HP machine, No sound and no internet. I am completely confused with it.
