Why only three themes are available in Ubuntu 15.10?
I am using Ubuntu 15.10 desktop version. In system Appearance setting, I can see three themes installed viz. Ambiance, Radiance, and High Contrast. While under /usr/share/themes directory, I can see many themes listed there viz. Adwaita, AgingGorilla, Ambiance, Atlanta, Bright, Crux, Default, Emacs, Esco, HighContrast, Metabox, Radiance, Raleigh, and Simple. So why all these themes are not getting listed under the Appearance setting? Do I need to unlock those remaining themes, if yes how? Please suggest.
Thanks in advance!

@ardvark71: Thanks for sharing the link. I installed Unity Tweak Tool, but it didn't help much as it only changes the icons, not the overall appearance. Do you have any idea where and how can I download and install new themes for Ubuntu 15.10 distro?
@ondoho: You are right. After little research I found that not all these are themes or I should say complete themes. Some of them are sort of plug-ins or supporting apps which are used to change appearance of windows, colors or icons etc. of other 'complete themes'.
@jon lee: I've already tried MATE, but it causes other problem with unity. However thanks for your suggestion.
