ttf-mscorefonts-installer error

I keep getting this message.

When I click "Run this action now" it downloads a file from a console window.

After a reboot, I get the message above again and again.

I have not seen the message anymore...guess it finally completed.

Nothing is working.

Any way to get the message to stop showing ?

None of the methods worked.

Can I make copies of the ttf files and copy them to the truefonts directory after uninstalling the corefonts program ?

This one works!! I had the same issue, use the method in the post that has a score of 49. Use the "update 12/10" section.

I used sudo apt-get purge ttf-mscorefonts-installer, but it did not uninstall.

When I used your method, it said it was already installed.

Should I manually delete the font files first ?
