problems installing limewire from terminal!

Can anyone explain what the heck this means?

root@Shop:/home/scott# sudo unzip -u LimeWireOther.zip -d /opt/
Archive: LimeWireOther.zip
root@Shop:/home/scott# sudo chown -R root:root /opt/LimeWire/
root@Shop:/home/scott# sudo gedit /usr/bin/runLime.sh

(gedit:19284): GnomeUI-WARNING **: While connecting to session manager:
Authentication Rejected, reason : None of the authentication protocols specified are supported and host-based authentication failed.

I cant get beyond this point!

Thanks!

PROBLEM SOLVED!!! YIPEE!!

After investigating further, I PASTED the instructions text into the run files instead of typing them!

When I typed them, I did not use capital letters and its obveous now that the text needed to be EXACTLY as shown!

Here is was my initial mistake:

at the terminal:

wget -c http://easylinux.info/uploads/LimeWireOther.zip

Im ok here

sudo unzip -u LimeWireOther.zip -d /opt/

Im ok here

sudo chown -R root:root /opt/LimeWire/

Ok here too!

sudo gedit /usr/bin/runLime.sh

THIS is where I goofed! this command pulled up a text file and instead of pasting:

cd /opt/LimeWire/
./runLime.sh
into the file, I TYPED this:

cd /opt/limewire/./runlime.sh

No capital letters! DUH!

I did the same thing in the next text file that was pulled up and consequently, NO LIMEWIRE!

It's fixed now (after some major headaches!) and I'm dancing!!

Heres the link to the instructions on installing limewire: http://easylinux.info/wiki/Ubuntu#Ho....28LimeWire.29

Hope it helps!

See ya!
