Question Mail Server

Hi all

I have set up a mail server, the server in question can recive mail ok

I keep getting this message

Quote:
Error while Fetching Mail.

Could not connect to rockinghamgateway.com: No route to host
port 25 is open on my router, I'm unable to fetch the mail from the PC in question.

I have been following this tutorial

The Perfect Setup - Ubuntu 6.06 LTS Server
http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect_setup_ubuntu_6.06

any ideas on what it would be

TT

How are you trying to retrieve mail from the server? If it is POP, then you need to have port 110 open as well. Post 25 is for the SMTP traffic.
