Unhappy Mail Server Delimiter for alternate mail server


Hi there ,
I need sum help to configuring mail server that allow users to specify alternate mail server with user name delimiter in linux 8.0

Not sure what you're after here!

Do you want to have alternate servers by changing username in the same domain? e.g. user1@mydomain.net and user1.alt@mydomain.net going to different servers

I would think you'd need something like fetchmail to parse from one account and split into others.

Alternatively, if you wanted to have user1@mydomain.net and user1@othermail.mydomain.net you'd just need an additional MX record in your DNS for the sub-domain mailserver

I looking alternative servers for my client system,that may be anyusers@anydomain.net
So there can access that mail server with specify user name delimiter server IP for Eg:-john#mail.otherdomain.com (pop3 with different port)
i am already having mail server up , but some of my client what to check there mail accounts through my Linux box with using a Outlook Express please explain me how to do ?
