Hey, sorry, first post.
I'm installing Ubuntu on a second partition alongside my Windows 7 installation, and I recall last time, with several distributions, my WiFi adapter simply would not work on Linux.
The company (BrosTrend/Mediatek) says the dongle is compatible with Linux and provides drivers as seen here...

Unfortunately, I have
NO earthly idea how to install such drivers. I've looked this up countless times. I've been hesitant to put my question out online for fear people would say
"UTFSE!" (use the flipping search engine), but here it goes.
Can someone tell me how I'm supposed to install these drivers? I'm certain I have long discarded the manual, although it was so poorly written I would have no use for it presently, I'm sure.
I cannot connect through ethernet cable, so I need to be able to install these drivers and connect with the dongle while being completely offline.
Thank you in advance, regards~
Nix
(the dongle works just fine in Windows, as does almost anything with double click install simplicity)
I believe the installation has something to do with this...
