Firefox and Flash problem

Each time Firefox is updated it loses Flash.
After the update window is closed I get a window pop up saying a component was not fetched and would I like to do it now. I say yes, enter my password, and Flash is supposedly installed.
Firefox still does not have Flash capability.

What with it frequently failing to use the correct character encoding and losing Flash, it's a royal pain.

I use the NoScript plugin. Is it responsible?

Hi,

What method did you use for installing flash? Did you do something like what is described in the Ubuntu documentation? Ie
