Problem with firefox and flash !? so sloww

Dear all,
I wish you help me,
I have linux fedoracore 4, I use also mozila firefox5.0, with flash plugin` which i downloaded from the browser.
when I enter websites which include flash, I wait about 2 minutes untill the website load ! it is so sloww w w.... when I had windows before formating i could enter those websites in average of 10 seconds...
any idea ???
please help me...

A couple of points. The latest Firefox is 1.5, but I should think that Fedora core 4 would have had the 1.0x version. I don't know where you got the flash plugin, but I suggest you follow the method described by Stanton Finley in this web-page instead. There's a lot of other good stuff for Fedora 4 too.

Do you realise that Fedora Core 5 has been out for some time now? You might be better getting hold of that and re-installing or upgrading. Stanton Finley's notes for Fedora 5 can be found here.
