Does Current 7.10 RC Auto Update to Final Version?

hi all,

my friend is runninig 7.04 and is having some problems. auto update is broken and he can't empty his trash. i'd prefer not to have to manually reinstall the OS again in two weeks. will i have to or will the RC provide an auto update feature to the final version?

also, how can i set up dvd burning so that i can append to a dvd? for example, if i save 1 GB today, how can i set it up so i can save another 2GB tomorrow?

tia...

Once you installed 7.10 it will be automatically updated to the final version.
