You could also download SuSE9.2 LiveCD to check the version. It should be the same as in the final version. Then you may also compare versions of other packages (with rpm -q <package>)
Maybe you could update KDE, using the Yast sources from the SuSE FTP server. Or wait until mid of january, then the FTP version will be released.
BTW: you could have a look in the src directory of 9.2 for the kernel (and other) versions:
