Blackscreen after upgrading to 13.10 from 13.04

I have a black screen issue on boot after upgrading from 13.04 to 13.10 without nomodeset kernel option.
I am using Intel HD4000 gfx and I have installed intel gfx driver.
With nomodeset kernel option, I don't have black screen but video performance is not good.

Thank you for any help.

After further debugging it seems to have something to do with dvi interface. Switching to HDMI seems to work.

Does the system boot into the login screen? Is the black screen happening only while booting?
You have to give more information about the problem, people willing to help can't just guess what is going on.

I am sorry. I forgot to include the attachments.
I have an auto login and I think it get to the boot screen.
I can go to VT but I can't launch lightdm from there either.

Looks like is just a problem with the splash screen, Ubuntu have silence boot enable in the kernel, it probably wont print anything in the screen while booting, but if your system is getting to the graphic interface then there is nothing to worry about. With auto login you wont see the login screen unless you log out.
