HardDrake blackscreen


when I want to start HardDrake (with my mandrake 8.2),
a black screen appear and then, I need to reboot.

is this a bug or somthing??

some1 help me please, I really need it because I need to set up
my soundcard because without sound it sucks

Yeah, I had this same problem, for some reason when harddrake starts it switches to another terminal. Just hit ALT+F7 or CTRL+ALT+F7, and it should fix your problem. It's a very annoying problem and a bad one for a "newbie distro".
